Fred Almey of Cardiff, Wales, sent me a clipping from a Norfolk area newspaper. It stated "Former agriculture minister and South West Norfolk MP, Gillian Shephard remains a firm supporter of Norwich cattle market. Her cousin, Philip Almey, who farms at Antingham, is a regular attender at Norwich."
Fred knew that I had visited this Philip Almey at his Tavistock Farm, in Antingham, back in 1982. Here is a picture I took of Philip, his wife Marion, and son Brian, back at that time. My wife Veda is on the right.
